SmartPup Nutrition is an educational website. It was created to help dog owners, students, and pet enthusiasts. Its goal is to aid people in making better choices in feeding their dogs. These resources are designed to improve the health and longevity of dogs of all ages and sizes.
My goal
My goal was to make a website that makes feeding your dogs easier to understand. I know how stressful it can be when your dog doesn’t react positively to a recommended brand of food. Sometimes, you just not know much about it. But I believe everyone should educate themselves on the quality of food we are feeding our dogs. This way, they can live happy and healthy lives with us.
Why This Project Matters
SmartPup Nutrition was inspired by my firsthand experience working with dogs at boarding facility/ daycare. To be completely honest, I’ve seen so much dog poo. I can tell the evidence apart and assign each one to a specific dog. It is kinda gross. Oh my gosh, I always questioned what these owners were feeding their dog before dropping them off. This site was created to change that—by offering clarity, credible sources, and realistic plans that anyone can follow.
The project reflects some of my knowledge gained in animal science. It also shows my long-term goal of becoming a veterinary surgeon. I have to give credit to my dog Ruby. She has a super sensitive stomach. It became a daily project for me to resolve. Thank you so much for visiting my first website and I hope you enjoyed!
